I was just wondering if you know if this was an original company??

And what are wickets?

I’m pretty sure that the company was made up for the musical, and I believe wickets are not real things. I personally feel like they made up a company for the musical so that it could apply to any large corporation. The problems within the company could apply to any corporation, instead of being based on one specific organization. This makes the musical relevant in the 60’s when it was written, the 90’s when it was revived, and in the 2010’s when it was revived once more, in my opinion. What do you guys think?
